On Saturday, April 6, Redeemer Lutheran Church will visit the Museum of the Bible. Located two blocks from Washington D C.’s National Mall and three blocks from the nation’s Capitol, the Museum of the Bible is housed in a 430,000-square-foot building and provides visitors with an immersive and personalized experience of the Bible.
Enjoy and explore interactive exhibits, view thousands of artifacts, experience one-of-a-kind performances, and take in the picturesque views of Washington from the museum's beautiful rooftop garden. You will have 4 hours to explore (with lunch your own way).
For those who prefer, there is an option to join us for a guided group tour. (additional cost of $8-see below)
The charter bus will leave Redeemer 8:00 am and return by 6:00 pm. On our way home the bus will stop for about an hour to view the cherry blossoms (which will be in blooming in peak season).
Cost (includes the bus ride and entry into the museum):
Adults (over 12) are $40
Kids ages 5-11 are $35
Kids 4 and under are $28 (bus fare ONLY, museum entry is free).
