Cine y Vino:

A Night of Movies, Wine Tasting, and Food Pairings

The movie “Bottle Shock” is a 2008 American comedy-drama based on the 1976 competition between the wines of Old-World France and the new, exciting wines of California.

Relive the experience with a blind taste test that will include wines from France, California, and Virginia, guided by Corey Davis – our wine expert for the evening.

Upon registration, each participant (or couple) will be assigned a ‘key’ ingredient that pairs well with wine…like citrus, pepper, chocolate, cheese, etc. Let that ingredient inspire an appetizer or dessert to share.

After our sampling, you will also receive two wine tickets to enjoy a glass of wine or two, paired with these dishes, while we watch the movie Bottle Shock.

The event is for participants 21 and older. It will be held in the fellowship hall on Saturday, November 3 beginning at 6:30pm. The cost of this event is $13 per person.
